1. General
This is the official website of Agu Israel Ltd. (the “Hotel”).
1.2.By using this website, the user declares that they have read these terms and unequivocally agree to all their provisions and conditions, and that neither they nor anyone acting on their behalf shall have any claim, demand or action, directly or indirectly, against the website, its owners, managers, representatives or the Hotel.
1.3.Some website content uses masculine wording for convenience only and is intended for women and men alike.
1.4.The user acknowledges that the information displayed on the website, in whole or in part, is the exclusive property of the Hotel, which retains copyright in that information. The user undertakes to use it solely for personal purposes and not to copy, photograph, reproduce, broadcast, print or publish website information, whether owned by the Hotel or third parties, or any part of it to any person or entity without the Hotel’s prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
1.5.The user undertakes not to distort or otherwise alter the information, or take any action that could harm its accuracy or reliability, or the honour or reputation of the Hotel as copyright owner, or of any other party.
2. Risks and liability
2.1.The user acknowledges that using an internet website involves numerous risks, arising both from the technology involved and from people operating through the internet.
2.2.The user is solely and fully responsible for all use they make or will make of the information.
2.3.The information is for the user’s personal use only, and its use, including reliance upon it, is at the user’s sole responsibility. The user acknowledges that website photographs are for illustration only and may differ on a computer screen from their appearance in reality. The website does not show photographs of every Hotel room, and rooms of the same type may differ.
2.4.The information is provided “as is”. The Hotel is not responsible for its suitability for the user’s needs or for any inability to use it for any reason. The user alone is responsible for how they use the information.
2.5.The Hotel makes every effort to provide information that is as accurate and correct as possible, but it does not purport to provide a complete, comprehensive or detailed analysis of every subject addressed. The information is general and partial. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for errors in information displayed by the Hotel or by third parties.
2.6.The Hotel shall not be liable for damage, inconvenience, loss, expense or distress that may be caused to the user or their property, including hardware or software, or to any third party, directly or indirectly, as a result of entering the website or using its content.
2.7.The Hotel accepts no responsibility for unlawful activity by any website user or any other party outside its control.
2.8.The Hotel accepts no responsibility for changes made to the information by the user or any other third party.
3. Accommodation bookings
3.1. General
3.1.1.The user may use this website solely to book and purchase services or obtain information. It may not be used for other purposes.
3.1.2.Rooms may be booked by calling the Hotel’s reservations centre on 054-9656466 or through this website.
3.1.3.Anyone booking a room through this website must enter their personal details, including an identity card or passport number and credit card number, together with the details of all accompanying guests.
3.1.4A booking is subject to written confirmation emailed to the customer at the end of the booking process. The confirmation will state the booking conditions and confirmation number. A request without written confirmation is not considered a Hotel booking.
3.2. Customer details
3.2.1.When purchasing services through the website and making a booking as described below, the user must enter their personal details into the system.
3.2.2.The website’s owners, operators, managers and representatives are not responsible for errors made by the user when entering purchase details, including dates, room numbers or other services ordered through the website. They also accept no direct or indirect responsibility if purchase details are not received by the system or if technical or other issues prevent a purchase.
3.2.3.Entering false purchase details is a criminal offence. Legal action, including claims for damages, will be taken against those entering false details for harm that may be caused to the Hotel, the website, its operators, owners, managers or representatives.
3.2.4.The user acknowledges that entering purchase details will add them to the Hotel’s database. The Hotel may use those details to improve services offered through the website, contact the user by post, email or other means, and adapt the website to their personal needs and preferences.
3.3. Booking and payment
3.3.1.Payment will be made in full by credit card.
4. Terms and restrictions
4.1.Website prices are stated in shekels and exclude VAT at the applicable rate, which may change from time to time, and/or in dollars excluding VAT, which will be added as required by law for Israeli citizens. Prices may differ between price lists because of exchange-rate changes.
4.2.The Hotel may change room-booking conditions at any time.
4.3.The Hotel may amend these website terms from time to time without prior notice. New conditions will be published on the website and take effect upon publication.
4.4.The Hotel may close the website or change its structure, content, appearance, the scope and availability of services and content, or any other aspect of its operation, without prior notice. The user declares that they shall have no claim, action or demand against the Hotel in this regard.
4.5.Hotel capacity is limited and room bookings are subject to availability.
4.6.Promotions and discounts cannot be combined.
4.7. Check-in and check-out
4.7.1.Check-in: rooms are available from 15:00, every day of the week.
4.7.2.Check-out: departure by 10:00, every day of the week.
4.7.3.Arrival or departure before or after these hours requires prior approval from Hotel management and may incur an additional charge.
4.8.This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over matters concerning this agreement and use of the website rests with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv district.
4.9.The user acknowledges that internet websites may experience technical faults.
4.10Errors and omissions excepted. Although we check website prices carefully, errors may occasionally cause an incorrect price to be displayed. In such cases, we may contact you after booking with the updated price and allow you to confirm the purchase at the correct price or cancel your booking.
5. Miscellaneous
5.1Additional guests beyond those stated in the booking may not be invited without the Hotel’s prior consent. Bringing guests to the Hotel, whether overnight or for a visit, will incur an additional charge.
5.2Smoking is prohibited throughout the Hotel.
5.3The governing legal system is that of Israel.
5.4Cancellation policy: in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741–1981.
5.5Privacy restriction: an undertaking that customer details will not be passed to third parties.
